The Christ the King Musical Theatre is a program that, while relatively new, has been extremely successful. The group is open to students in all years. The program teaches students about the theatrical arts and helps them explore and polish their talents and creativity while working as part of a group with similar interests and goals. There are two major productions each school year. The first is a musical revue that features a variety of songs based on a given theme. In the spring, the group stages its major production. These productions have already included Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Godspell and Into the Woods. The revue for the 2009-2010 school year is Broadway: Songs of the Sixties. The spring production will be Sweeney Todd.
