The Christ the King Community too, was saddened by the news of the closing of Stella Maris High School. Stella Maris High School, under the direction of the Sisters of St. Joseph, along with its dedicated Administration and Faculty, has provided the young ladies of Queens and Brooklyn with an excellent Catholic Education for many, many years.
The Board of Trustees, Administration, Faculty, Staff and Student body of Christ the King Regional High School believe in and value a Catholic Education. With this in mind, and the mission of our School, “…to teach as Jesus did…,” the Christ the King Faith Community is prepared to accept those young ladies from Stella Maris High School, who would like to continue their Catholic Education in a caring, loving environment for the 2010-2011 school year.
We strongly encourage the girls to complete the present school year at Stella Maris. There is no reason to leave at this time. However, we understand the anxiety of securing a school to attend for next year. Therefore we will open a ‘special registration” for the 2010-2011 at this time for those families who would like to secure a seat for their child for the next academic school year.
